FRITZ!OS is the software of the FRITZ!Box. Use the online update function to easily download the newest FRITZ!OS version into your FRITZ!Box.

New performance characteristics:
  • Internet: IPv6 data now can also be transferred via a WireGuard® VPN tunnel
  • New graphic Online Monitor informs about the utilization of the internet connection and on the utilization by individual network devices
  • Mesh: Graph in new design with additional functions
  • The number of DECT telephone calls that can be conducted concurrently was increased from three to five (FRITZ!Box 7590, FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, FRITZ!Box 7583 only)
  • Push service: Reworked design and more convenience

You can configure your FRITZ!Box for VPN connections. For this you need the following components:

• the latest firmware for your FRITZ!Box
• the VPN client FRITZ!VPN
• the "Configure FRITZ!VPN Connection" wizard

These components are available for free download from the VPN Service Portal. At this site you can also find all kinds of useful information and tips for using VPN.
